Trellis Foundation is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Graduate Fellow. The Graduate Fellow is a paid position, intended only for students in the process of completing a graduate-level degree. Preference will be given to students in a graduate program at an HBCU in Texas. The position will primarily be based remotely; up to one trip to our offices may be required monthly in 2021, but we will accept applicants residing outside of Texas.
The Fellow will support the projects, grant review, and thought leadership of the Foundation and will be exposed to various areas of the grantmaking program, including proposal reviews, analysis of critical issues, writing case studies, outcomes development and tracking, and reports on grant implementation. The Fellow’s contribution will have a direct impact on improving educational attainment for low- to moderate-income students who may not otherwise have an opportunity to earn a postsecondary credential or degree.
The position is part-time, approximately 15 to 20 hours weekly. The start date and term length are flexible but are expected to include the fall 2020 and spring 2021 semesters.
