In June 2024, Trellis Foundation and the Alliance for Higher Education in Prison hosted “Higher Education in Texas Prisons: A Collective Conversation & Networking.” This dynamic event brought together members of the Texas higher education in prison (HEP) community to connect, learn, and collaborate. This brief provides background on HEP in our state.
Trellis Foundation is proud to support the Texas Success Center’s work alongside Texas community colleges to implement, scale, and institutionalize 8-week terms within the context of the Center’s Talent Strong Texas Pathways strategy.
